I use this book with children at church camp, to get at the idea of "thin places" in the world - places where God SEEMS closer to us than normal. As I read this book aloud to the children, I sometimes changed the word "power" to "spirit". "Power" so frequently get understood as "power OVER" ; I try to encourage the children to think of God's "power" as "power WITH". That said, I believe "spirit" was a better word for my purposes.

I recently met Michael at a restraunt were I work. He is a very sweet and kind hearted person:o) He gave me this book. I just love it. It explains alot of my heart.
